Atlantis with HiTek vibrato - images and questions
Anyone have production numbers, info, trivia on this model - specifically ones equipped with factory vibrato? Is the model number '650A VT' or '650A VB' (or something else)? Was it ever used on any popular songs?
Have been looking for more info on the web, but no luck other than a few comments that people have "seen one/heard of one/maybe one is out there"...
Very interested in more info and clarification from anyone in the know...
Thanks,
Mark

I confirmed that the model number should be '650A VB' with the factory, but they didn't have any info on numbers produced, etc.
Any info appreciated,
Mark

There is one FS on a popular internet auction site. No vibrato, just a standard set up. Ends today.

P.S. The guitar offered is not mine, nor do I have any connection with the seller whatsoever. Just happened to see it.

Me too. I've kicked my self for a couple of years for passing one up here. Haven't seen one for a decent price since.shamustwin wrote:All I know is I want one.

Me three. My favorite of both the turquoise guitars and the 650 series.brianeharmonjr wrote:Me too. I've kicked my self for a couple of years for passing one up here. Haven't seen one for a decent price since.shamustwin wrote:All I know is I want one.

How is the tuning stability?

No problems with it what so ever. Of course I don't divebomb, I'm sure that would surely knock it out of tuning.

Give it a try and report back. My recollection is that these were really stable, at least after the strings were fully stretched out.loverickbass wrote:No problems with it what so ever. Of course I don't divebomb, I'm sure that would surely knock it out of tuning.
