I'm sad that it's gone, it was the only one like it I'd seen and was unique within a sea of unique models.

I hope you got ridiculously silly money for it. (I know that would help you right now. :) )

I hope he plays it and enjoys it. In fact I'm sure he will, he's not a big collector, he's a player. I hate vintage guitars inside vaults or glass cabinets.

Congrats on the sale!

I'll definitely be placing an order for a 4005 GL signature model when they come out.

What a COOL story!!!!!!!! THAT is not something that happens often.
I sure hope Geddy plays it, and doesn't just store it away somewhere. It would look GREAT next to his 4080!!!!!!

Very cool.

Very cool deal!! I too hope he actually plays it . . . glad that it's suggested that he hasn't totally forsaken Rics.

The story I heard (from a reputable Toronto source) was that much of Rush's old gear was donated to the Canadian Museum of Civilization as a tax right off. The double necks were part of this donation. Thats why on their recent recordings they had to rent Taurus pedals because their originals were gone.

Steve is correct... (Don't know abut the tax write off part though - but the Instruments do appear to be in Hull Quebec)
