Being more anxious that any little kid at waiting for Christmas, it seemed like such a long of a time from when I ordered this 4004Cii/5, until I received it. Now it's already 10 years old. Not normally a fan of mapleglo, I do love it on the 4004 series.

My 370/12 VP turns 10 this month, she looks as good as she did 10 years ago. :)

This April is the 32nd anniversary of the birth of my first Rickenbacker. A Jetglo 620
2.jpg
This picture was taken in the fall of 1983 when I was in a Battle of the Bands at Westdale High School in Hamilton. The judges were the punk band TEENAGE HEAD.. We didn't win alas...

VD 1084 - More Pics in the register...

http://www.rickresource.com/register/vi ... 6order%3D5

It was part of the last batch of 6 string guitars that had Kluson tuners standard - by the summer they were using Grovers. (A Forum member has an identical 620 a few numbers away from mine http://www.rickresource.com/register/vi ... model%3D61)

I bought it in September 1982 new at The Music Shoppe in Thornhill Ontario just north of Toronto, which was also the shop where Geddy Lee of RUSH bought his Rickenbackers or so the story went... I bought it on layaway which means it took at least 4 month to pay it off... I would have got the guitar in January 1983 after receiving Christmas cash... I paid $720 Canadian for it without a case... I threw it into an old fender case which it lived in for most of its life.

It died in a fire in 1991 and was completely reduced to ashes after I lost possession of it.. (My 320 was the only one of three guitars in the fire to survive).

I bought a 91 JG 610 to replace it which was my only Rickenbacker for 12 years... About three years back with Collin's help I replaced it with a June 1977 620 out of Los Angeles...

I just realized this is an important month! My Rick 360/12 string is 5 years old. She's the first electric guitar I ever bought, and was purchased from Jim Rhoads of Rhoads Music, of Elizabethtown, PA.
