4001 vs 4003 ???

Post by mczx »

Hello,

New to Rickenbacker's basses. Looking to get the Fireglo McCartney vibe and wondering if the 4003 has advantages structurally over the reissue 4001 models? I for sure want to be under 2k, so I don't even think the reissue is an option right?

The reissue 4001 models are built the same as the 4003 and so, are essentially a 4003 with a few different appointments and the 4001 name...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...
