350SH Plain Pickguard
Does anyone know if Ric sells a plain white upper pickguard that will fit a 350SH? I would like to take the signature guard off while playing at home so I don't need to worry about scratching it. I bought the new 350v63 guard from Ric's boutique based on the advice of their service department and the bottom corner screw hole is slightly off, making it unusable. After consulting via email with a service dept. representative about the problem, he finally concluded the screw holes must have changed over the years. Just wondering if anyone knows of any other ideas for a plain guard. Thanks, Parker

Pickguardian is authorized to make pickguards for Rickenbacker and you can send PG a trace of your guard and I understand they will drill the holes to your specific 350SH individual screw hole specs.

Thank you, I will check them out. I greatly appreciate it

I thought it was the same as a regular 350, just with the signature:

I think this is the one, the upper guard for a V63: http://boutique.rickenbacker.com/PICKGU ... p_573.htmliiipopes wrote:I thought it was the same as a regular 350, just with the signature:

Not 100% sure it would fit a 350SH though, as the 350V63 series was started later.

Um, that's the left-handed version. Try this:libratune wrote:I think this is the one, the upper guard for a V63: http://boutique.rickenbacker.com/PICKGU ... p_573.htmliiipopes wrote:I thought it was the same as a regular 350, just with the signature:

Re: 350SH Plain Pickguard
Scott and Ron,
Thanks for the links, actually the one I bought on the advice of Rickenbacker themselves was the 350V63 right hand upper pickguard that you gave a link to. Unfortunately the corner screw hole is just slightly off, just enough to make it unusable on the SH. I was really bummed and I emailed Ric just to make sure I didn't somehow get a mis-drilled guard and apparently it was even news to the service rep that indeed the guard specs have changed slightly over the last 25 years
So it looks like I will just have to go the custom route. Either pickguardian or my local Ric tech said he stocks that pickguard material and can also make a standard guard for me. I was just trying to find a quick and easy off the shelf solution. Thanks again for the help.
