The seller says MG, but it sure doesn't look like one to me. Too hard to tell in the pictures.

White/BT, without a doubt.

"It was made in Oct of 1976 and I belive Rickenbacker called the color Mapleglo although I have heard it referred to as offwhite or cream...(...)"

Looks like the guy simply doesn't know much about Rics and their finishes, no biggy. Still, pretty sweet 4001!

I like it when it is clean but worn out white can be pretty nasty looking. It is best when it is still new looking or evenly yellowed.

I had one just like that, they do yellow unevenly sometimes, I still like them though.

Just white... a BT will have black hardware and neck binding, this one has chrome.
