Well, more accurately, the distributor for Singapore (as well as most Asian countries, excluding China) is Yamano Music in Japan. Unfortunately there are not any Singapore-based musical instrument distributors of sufficient size and stature to handle the line.
Based on the population, there are in fact a reasonable number of sales for RIC instruments there.
Thanks for your input John. I truly appreciate this and also honoured to have you contributing in this thread.
Indeed Yamano Music is now the new distributor for RIC Asia. It was Shinseido previously from which I procured 95% of my Rics.
I am just curious about the stock distribution worldwide. Does Asia get new stocks of instruments at or around the same time as in the US or even the UK?
I fully understand that the demand for RICs in Asia is minute compared to the US. But do enthusiasts like myself get to enjoy these new instruments instead of waiting for months or years before they reach this part of the world?
Well, having said that. I also kind of enjoy the rareness of RICs here which makes it so appealing.
Have you ever considered one of our local music merchant
https://www.sweelee.com.sg/ as a distributor?
They are considered one of the biggest in SE Asia.
