Yep! I almost hear sort of a Leslie effect on that one.
Jimmy Page played his guitar though a Leslie sometimes, so maybe JPJ gave it a whirl.
What you did there, I see it.

Funny......I have a ROS box...and mine doesn't do HALF the things yours does :D :D

Congrats Jeff!!! Sounds like a COOL piece of equipment you have there.

(BTW Jeff....you beat me to the "Starship Trooper" suggestion for tremolo bass effect)

:D
But on topic I'm pretty sure I read that JPJ played through his Leslie on Heartbreaker.

Any low-end suckage on the bass with the effects minimally engaged Jeff?

I did notice it is TBP, so that's nice. I'm thinking of using one at the front of my signal chain to do the ROS -> bridge pickup effects vs. neck pickup effects, then join them back with an LS-6.

It's both, actually. If you hold the bypass switch when plugging the pedal in you can toggle between analog bypass / buffered bypass. Buffered mode lets you have decaying trails after you turn the effect off, and the dry mix is still analog.

Erik got it! Yes, you can choose between TBP or buffered (I usually keep it to buffered as it sounds excellent and it allows reverb trails to decay vs. a sharp cutoff when turning the reverb off. There are some other cool/useful features on the pedal, and I assume other Strymon pedals, too. The fidelity is great, no suckage of tone that I can detect. A few of the controls have dual functions, such as the Tremolo Intensity and the Reverb Mix controls that double as gain trim controls to allow up to ±3dB relative to the dry signal if you want to have a boost or cut when that particular effect is engaged or to provide a preferred balance between them, for example.

Yep, I have a BlueSky and El Capistan and they both have "hidden" knob functions when you hold both footswitches down.

I watched the videos for the El Capistan a couple weeks ago, very cool pedal! At first I was thinking the Flint was kind of pricy but then when I thought about that I was really getting two great pedals in one it seemed far more than reasonable, actually. I was going to buy a Fulltone SupaTrem-1 but after watching a bunch of videos for the Flint, there was no other choice, really. :D

They're expensive, but unlike a "boutique" overdrive with 15$ worth of components in a fancy enclosure I at least know what my money is getting me.

I ran a couple of Fender combos in stereo using the BlueSky, not something I plan to do often but it was fun to play with.
