I wanted a worn looking 330 and it looks like one, wants £750 for it, is that reasonable for a resprayed non original tuner 330 jetglow do you think?
Thanks.
Jan 81 means its a UA.

I would think 750 pounds a good deal for almost any 330 in playable condition. From Ebay they seem to go for about 1000 pounds on average for a recent 330 in the UK. (They are cheaper here in North America but then it is relative)...

330s from this era have x bracing and the smaller headstock both desirable features. Putting the correct era tuners back on is not an expensive proposition.

If you want to see the correct tuners check out this 320 made the same month as the guitar you are considering..

Again good luck on scoring this!

Love to see the pics when you have it.

They were used later than that on some models. My October 1984 325v59 JG had original Klusons on it.

The split top 3 on a side Klusons are often called "Mosrite" Klusons; I have them on "Big Red" my 365 WB, and on my 365 WB Blue Boy; they fit the standard vintage Kluson or Grover footprint. They are a great tuner. If they're offered to you, take them!
There is no reason to ever be bored.

...why yes, I suppose I do have a double bound guitar fetish...

Oddly, they're on my '65 Mosrite Ventures, so I guess the nick-name fits.....

For comparison of the model year, I have an '81 370 WB and it came with Grover Star tuners

Both my 1981 320 and 1981 360-12WB FG ckbd have their original nickel plated Kluson deluxe tuners.
