RICKENBACKER 99041 WC 360/12GH SPC FG FIREGLO

SN is on this one is 14 11767 - so i am guessing the run 50 of these was week 11...

I still think the GH stands for August 67. lol

360/12GH SPC FG also arrived at Guitar Center Atlanta, its setup dialed in by the expert in-house tech/Rickenbacker aficionado, and it's very, very cool. Sounds and plays GREAT.

Okay, Kenny...this question's directed at you, then:
Assuming you've played the Carl Wilson model, is there any playability differences between that model and the new GH SPC? I know the cosmetic differences: CW has square neck heel, figured wood and CB, while GH has rounded neck heel, plain binding and plain grain. I'm also going to assume (yeah, yeah, I know "when you assume...") the GH has a thicker body top to the Wilson's slightly-thinner top.

I haven't played a CW model in years, so I couldn't say how it stacks up. I'd bet very close.

Tonally, I bet they're identical (7.4k toasters etc.).

Top appears the same as normal 300 series thickness.

No CB on it and it appeared to have the standard 10" fingerboard radius.
Correct it has PB, no CB, and standard 10" fret radius. Also it does not appear to have cross bracing, just the plank down the middle.

Differences between this one and the standard 360/12, appear to be that this one has 21" neck, vintage tuners and vintage pickups.

Oh my! Must have the precious!
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm
