Effects Pedal Board recommendations.

Post by ram »

I'm thinking about a pedal board & case.... anyone have a recommendation? Probably need about 8 or 10 positions including two expression pedals. Your thoughts?

I like my Peddle Train. They come in an assortment of sizes as well as cases. You can get the padded carry bag or a flight case for it. The Mono is built like a tank!! They are easily set up with the Voodoo Power power supplies.

I also use a pedal train 2 and voodoo labs pedal power 2+.
Got the soft case for it and it has served me well for the last couple of years.

I have a Pedaltrain 1 (I believe its termed) that was issued with a hard carry case through GC. The company that markets Pedaltrain is based here in Nashville, so perhaps that was a local thing, but I would wager it was nationwide.

As mentioned in a previous post, you can add the Voodoo etc. I actually hardwired an AC outlet into my Pedal Power II.
I have some older pics from '09 I'll place here to you can see what can be done. I use Lava cable solder less and any of these appliances may, or may not be on it, at any given time....(from my Talkbass list)

Darkglass Electronics - Vintage MicroTubes Deluxe
Fromel - Shape EQ
Katanasound - Super Bass Fuzz
Loud Button Effects - Morphine Dream Jet Phaser
Mu-FX - Tru-Tron 3X Envelope Filter
Origin Effects - Cali 76TX Limiting Amplifier Compressor
Sonic Research - ST-200 Turbo Tuner

Acme Audio 'WolfBox' Limited Edition Direct Box
Eclair Engineering - Evil Twin Direct Box
Sonic Farm - 2DI4 Direct Box
TAB Funkenwerk - V71 Direct Box

Sold! Pedaltrain it is... I actually found a Pedaltrain 2 cheaper than most of the lists for Pedaltrain 1. Hopefully be here in a few days. Thanks for the inputs, I really appreciate them!!
