Played it on Saturday for a show. The doubleneck definitely stole the show.

WOW!!!!! LOVE the double neck!!!!!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!

As a teen....I used to listen to Genesis constantly---among other prog. bands. Hearing you guys in that promo REALLY brings back memories.
It sounds like you have it down COLD!!!!!! Would LOVE to see you guys sometime...ever play near or in Jersey????

BTW: What is the Fireglo bass in that pic???? An RM per chance?????

Looks to be a late 90's/early 2k 4001v63 (headstock length is a dead giveaway).

I'd love to see the band sometime - Selling England is probably my all-time favorite Genesis album. The double-neck looks great!! Congratulations!

Super cool! I love the crushed inlay on the bass neck too. Fairfax.....I used to have some band aquaintances in the 70's from there... Artful Dodger.

Thanks everybody! It is the fine work of Larry Davis aka Davis Guitar Works down in Florida. He took my '66 360/12 and '72 4001 and mashed them together very nicely.

Right now the band is only playing locally, that's DC and Baltimore, but if the conditions are right we could come up to New Jersey. We all have day jobs, so a Saturday is the only attractive option for us to travel.

The v63 is a year 2000 model.

The doubleneck weight is not bad at all. Lighter than a 4080 due to the hollow part, and even a pound or two lighter than the other RRF'er's that owns one of these.
