Andertons 330 & 360 Reviews
"Maybe it is the ultimate shred guitar..."
Re: Andertons 330 & 360 Reviews
I can't think of two worse people to review a Rickenbacker guitar, especially that numb nuts with the dreadlocks. It's like asking Beavis and Butthead to review a Stradivarius violin.

If you want a good laugh and don't have anything better to do, or have time to waste, take a look at some of their other "reviews"; they really are a top rate pair of plonkers!
only my opinion of course!

I don't know; I think this guy's review is quite a bit worse, and definitely less entertaining to watch:RicukStu wrote:I can't think of two worse people to review a Rickenbacker guitar...
Re: Andertons 330 & 360 Reviews
Well I guess the issue is that Rickenbackers are not big sellers at Anderton's. They are a niche guitar when compared to the other big brands. So what if two guys do a video and fun doing itRicukStu wrote:I can't think of two worse people to review a Rickenbacker guitar, especially that numb nuts with the dreadlocks. Regardless of their schtick, Chappers (in particular) can flat out play. And if you actually take the trouble to listen, he coaxes some pretty compelling sounds out of that 360.

Agreed! There aren't enough videos of people shredding on a RIC anyway, so I thought the video was worth posting even if only for that.eatswodo wrote: ... if you actually take the trouble to listen, he coaxes some pretty compelling sounds out of that 360.
At least they don't refer to the construction as "laminated maple."

Certainly would not question their playing ability (and the 360 did sound nice) but clueless when it comes to Rickenbackers.

It's just notes per second rubbish though, where's the originality, feeling and inventiveness? Shredding is for losers. The only exception to this rule is of course the genius that is Allan Holdsworth.

That sounds like rock and/or roll!
Re: Andertons 330 & 360 Reviews
Rob Chapman is a respected session player as well as a solo musician. He does more than shred but that is what he prefers to play. At least he played a Rickenbacker without resorting to playing the same tired Byrd/Beatles/Petty riffs that everyone else does. Aderton's is kind of like the Sam Ash of Guilford, their clientele are not the type to plunk down over £2,000+ for a guitar. They know their customers.RicukStu wrote:eatswodo wrote:Regardless of their schtick, Chappers (in particular) can flat out play.
