Desperate times, and all that...

My first 4001!

Every cloud has a silver lining, though. She's gonna be replaced with something just as fine, soon. Image

Shame to see her go. Sounds like you gotta plan though.

Yup.

44 people watching. Had countless questions, too.

Henny, compared to the majority of the basses back in the U.K. this has got to be a great buy. Hopefully you,ll get a good price and go from there....

After every Ric bass I've sold I've been sorry afterward, especially an irreplaceable bass like that. That is the only Burgandy 72 I've ever heard of.

Cheers for the support, fellas. Image

Well, Bob - in hindsight, they are ultimately just 70s 4001s, they are always floating about.

It's possible to acquire stuff like this all the time provided you have patience, a bit of money - and most importantly, you know where to look.

Of course you don't need me to tell you that. Image

But, yeah... no problems in admitting it's a bit of a downer, especially when I ship her off!

I mean, I've gigged her for nigh on one and a half years. She's been faultless.

I have my sights on other, gorgeous stuff. Image

Selling a checkerboard Burg can mean only one thing. Henny is getting a 4005 or a 4002!
