I suspect there were just a few companies (maybe one or two) making all of those copies. They are so similar. Many are quite good and are difficult to tell from the real thing.

I think I'll dub it Linda Blairglo. He really got my attention with that "not Fender, Gibson" trick in the title too - I'd bid on it, but he forgot to put "L@@K!". Image

What's the problem with that color? It's nicer than FireGlo Image
Get use to it, the 2005 color will be some shade of green.

Bob - actually, I don't have a problem with the green part (I think a green burst type of finish would be nice), it's the yellow/orange in the burst that I find off putting. I dunno, it looks kinda phlegmy to me. :-\

As subjective as any other number of topics on this board! You usually like green or you don,t. It,s a little too radical for many and that,s why I doubt RIC would have it as the colour of the year. It needs to be a custom option, offered alongside others like on the 4004 but not a general one.
If your really into colours, then green and it,s shades are wonderful. As descriptive in emotions as any other hue. If you,ve ever looked closely at the eyes of the Afghan girl in the famous picture from National Geographic you,ll know what I,m talking about...

I knew FireGlo statement would get a responce from Jim. Just kidding of course Jim Image
Chris your right, that color does suck, and I hope the 2005 color is not any shade of green.
I just wanted to stir the pot up a little pit Image
Although Afgan-girl-glo would be pretty cool.

That's what I don't like about the current FireGlo. Too much maple showing too. The older ones look so much better to me.
If it ain't broke, break it, then fix it.
