Replacement Handle for 70's Ric case

Hi all.

My handle on my 70's 4001 case obviously became too brittle and snapped into about 12 pieces. Anyone know a good replacement handle for these & where I might get one. I've tried a few searches but nothing seemed quite right.

Thank you sir. L-1071 or L-1666 will do nicely.
They even have the latches I need to fix an old F****r case I have.

FWIW, I had a broken handle on one of my cases replaced by a local luggage shop. The owner is a big Beatles fan, too.

Leather wrapped sheetmetal clamshell handle or plastic??

The original was a plastic so i guess the same. Either would be better than tucking the case under my arm

Just as an off topic....I always wondered why my '71 4001 fits so loose in the case....everything looks to be there...it just moves a lot in the case.
Maybe it was for a 4005?
