Powder Coating Alternative?

Post by Ashgray »

Hi guys

I have some black hardware on a couple of my Ricks which is looking way past it's best - my first thoughts were to have it all powder-coated but I am unable to find anyone locally who can do this. Is anyone aware of any spray paint or other alternative that would do the job reliably and to a similar degree of finish?

Thanks Mark - I was thinking of powder-coating and swapping out my old V63 reissue horsie (currently sitting quietly in a cupboard) for the travesty of a "horseshoe pup" installed by a certain well-known American luthier on my 4001 Shadow fretless. I have other black hardware that needs coating so I may as well do it all at once... just wondered about alternatives.
