In the pink !
I have just recieved a brand new 330x12 and am happy to be back with the model i first started on in fireglow, it is very pink looking around the pickup area, i was wondering how long it takes before it starts to yellow and takes on a more fireglow colour that you would recognise as such from all the images that i have seen, is there a time scale for this. i see there are slight variations in the fireglow colour at times anyone have a photo they can send me so i can get a rough idea what this more cherry colour turns too. or will it stay pink forever !! this is my first ever sunburst guitar as all the other ricks i have had were black... am i imagining it or has the neck become fatter? i am sure my original 330 had a slim neck, it was an 89 model.... or maybe my fingers have gotten fatter ? ..oh no not "chubby stumps"

lshaia mine is similar but it seems to lack that brighter red outline before it gets to plain wood. yours seems to have 3 different red colours mine only has 2 and is a darker red colour or maybe it has had more of an overspray with the darker red. anyone had a similar colour for a few years as i am still none the wiser? and dying to know what it will turn into....

lshaia...quite a difference in spraying, mine seems to have more of an all over pinkness with very little plain wood showing through and funny enough was made in week 29 last year which is week starting july 12th if i am not mistaken... i am interested in that bright red outline though.. you still have the sticker made in the u.s on ... peel it off and enjoy the natural high of ownership. mine is only on there as i have only had for 2 days ....
Hi Antony,
That picture was taken the day I got it so I could show it off here. The sticker is gone and the original knobs have been replaced by vintage style knobs.
This is the only shot I have here at the office which shows it as it currently is; I have edited out the scary part for your comfort. I may have a better shot at home which shows the color more accurately, if so I'll post it. I'll also check the serial number; I'm not sure when it was built.
