Man, I know all about that! I'm waiting too, wondering when they are gonna start showing up on this side of the big pond!

I think Tom Petty wrote a song about it, The Waiting, musta been waiting for HIS Rickenbacker to arrive...

Happy New Rick Day!!! I like the MG Laurie, I saw the other pics on Facebook. The figuring of that maple is nice.

Lovely looking S's ... I tend toward Fireglo, which is lovely.

The vintage knobs look really good, I've got them fitted to my S and had them on my V63 ... I miss my V63

No 19th dot? Interesting.

Are the neck heels rounded or square like the V63's?

It's rounded at the heel like the standard 4003. Neck is very nice on them as well

I ordered a 1/2 inch spaced pickguard from our man Tony and I took some pictures of my 4003s with the guard in place (no pickup installed).

A lot of material would have to be removed to fit a pickup at the 1/2" spacing. Sometime over the summer, I'm going to take it to someone like Mouradian and have them do the work of putting in a new block of wood and routing a 1/2" spaced cavity.
