It did turn a couple of Muso heads. But then again, a Ric usually does.

Here's a shot playing Salsa on the turquoise RIC I had before trading it for my current fretless. It played like buttah and my friend Fernell sings well. The gig was our band playing with the Eugene Symphony; imagine playing a gig with full orchestral accompaniment! It was like Procol Harem w/Edmonton but on rum and cokes.

I saw PH back then. :D Steeleye Span opened for them, another great band from that era.

Must have been a good show. I haven't gotten into Steeleye Span yet. Guess I should you tube 'em. Name three tunes I should listen to!

Jeff, I've really been enjoying Steeleye Span. Also, a pic of me not actually playing my 4003fl

Glad to hear you are enjoying that great old band. I was very lucky to have been able to see them when I did back in the very early '70s, after hearing them for the first time on WMMS. They have a unique blend of things going on, and Maddy has a wonderful voice. :D

Did you put a cover on the bridge hi-gain or put a different pickup in there, altogether?
