Just saw another new JG for $1,799 BIN (no affil.) - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wonderful-Ricke ... 1706408149. I don't know Chris's prices but this seems like a good deal and there's no waiting.rickyfricky wrote: They are starting to show up on the 'Bay... there's a gorgeous JG on there now, but for several hundred dollars more than POTR's price.![]()

There is at least one place that has them for $1350. $1799 isn't even a good price on a standard 4003, which usually can be had for around $1600.

Ooops... I stand corrected. It's been a long time since I've been in the market for a new bass. I'm more of a used/vintage/natural relic
kinda bass buying guy. I remembered finding a gorgeous new MG 4003 for a friend for $1,500 which was at the time a great deal - I got the tip here on this forum. I think that was 4-5 years ago.

There are at least two stores here in Seattle that typically price a new 4003 around $1600

Like that "dark Fireglo." Is that like the dark fire that comes out of a Jet?
