That was a custom, employee one-off based on a 4002 that he made quite some time ago.

Yes - I too think that is Brandon's white 4002.

The headstock is a 6-string guitar head stock, though. Am I missing something?

I recall many years back Rickenbacker (John) mentioned, the factory needed to make each discontinued model occasionally to help keep the copyright ownership of the design. I'm guessing this could be part of the reason for this one off.

Just had some nifty parts laying around the shop, begging to part of something great. Shout out especially to Richard, Eric, and Robert (amongst others) for making this idea come to life"
