H E L P! I need a PickGuard -not just ANY PickGuard...

Post by merseymale »

Got me a hold of one of these:

That is in need of restoration. It's more road-worn than beat-up, though.

Where can I get hold of a Glenn Frey signature PickGuard over here in the UK?
I am based in Liverpool, England.

ANY info or ideas gratefully appreciated ;-D

Dennis:

Ebay - from someone who parted one out is about your only hope. And I would say your odds of finding one are very very low. (I have seen a Roger McGuinn and a Susannah Hoffs pick guard in the past - but not a Glen Frey).

Tony at Pickguardian would be able to reproduce the pick guard without the signature given a template. Perhaps someone here who owns a GF LE would help with the template/tracing.

There are some decent pics of the pickguard (on the instruments) in the Register.
