It was Pete Townsend who suggested that he only agreed to do that tour to help John Entwistle get out of debt (back tax, bank loans and gambling).

Not sure if these are in fact true:

I heard that Entwistle lived every year like he did in the most profitable years of the Who, and after Moon's passing, the money just wasn't coming in like it had been before...

One thing that struck me though, was both he and Squire died on June 27th. Odd considering they were both well-thought of bass players and that one influenced the other so much....

That's not the bible. That is a list of cantillation notes, or Tropes.

Of course, that may not be possible, or even feasible, but what a great guiding star to have had!

Years ago,I saw Yes backing up Jethro Tull, Chris Squire and Glenn Cornick (passed also)playing their butts off. The bass was a huge part of the sound, it was inspiring. Don't forget we lost Jack Bruce also recently.

Mark's fantastic birthday tribute to the late Chris Squire is even more poignant at 4:00-4:22, made my hairs stand up (but for different reasons now) and brought yet another lump to my throat
