Wildwood has a real pretty FG. Perfect shading for a FG IMO!

I was given the choice of two FG Ricks from Wildwood, since that's where I ordered mine. Even thought she was Ms. Congeniality to me, absolutely nothing wrong with that bass that I could see in the pics! I am delinquent in posting pics of my new 4003s, partly because I've been really bummed about Chris Squire's passing, but I've fixed it up with the cobalt Ernie Ball strings someone here recommended, and she plays like buttah!!! I WILL get some pics posted pronto!

Well, I wasn't actually waiting on one of these, I just walked into my local shop last Friday and saw one of these bad boys in Fireglo. It just arrived last Wednesday, and they had just put it out. I was missing a Rickenbacker bass from my collection so decided to bring it home. It's been a while since I played a Ric bass.

Great looking Fireglo! Cant wait to get mine. I wish POTR's would update their web site to show who all in the pre-order has received their basses.

I received my MapleGlo 4003s and used it over the weekend. Beautiful bass. The overall output seems to be a little lower that the 4003w and 4003 SnowGlo that I have, but this bass was dead quite through a live amp! No 60 cycle hum like the 4003W and SnowGlo. I can't wait to check it through a recording console.
