Modern 4003 - Walnut headwings on solid colours?

Post by henny »

Hi guys,

Back after many years of absence (and playing other basses, but alas have returned to the original and best!!)

I've got a very special Rickenbacker bass in the pipeline which I shall present here in its glory very soon.

Back to the topic, a quick question - do solid colour basses such as ruby red, midnight blue et al come with walnut headwings as per the FG and MG models?

Cheers guys! Great to be back.

That was a short live period from a few years ago. IIRC, the "roasted" maple was extremely difficult on the tools.
