Of course it's not right. But clearly most of us aren't cool enough to be in the cool kids insider club.

I'm sure you "know things you can't share" about business. Or something.

We all know how this works. What most of us seem to understand is that if they're not getting satisfaction from a dealer, that they should stop complaining, get their deposit back and seek satisfaction elsewhere.

Well, most of us anyway.

Keep your secrets. But keep that fact that you have secrets to yourself.

It just irritates people.

I guess it's time to chime in. If there is some secret info about POTR and Rickenbacker I certainly someone would share it with me. I just received invoices for parts and instruments on Monday. We have been receiving instruments and parts quite steadily.
We cannot be on "credit hold" as we are COD. We have been COD since we became dealers.
If anyone has a question or concern I would prefer that it was addressed to me directly instead of causing all of this speculation and ill feelings.
I for one and incredibly shocked and disappointed in some of the comments and speculations that have come from people that I thought were loyal customers
and more than just business relationships. I appreciate those who have stood up for me.

I have a call into John Hall to make certain there are no problems with my account or standing with Rickenbacker.

I ordered a 4003S from Chris in Jan and took delivery in May, no issues. Chris has always been fair and honest. If you can't wait, buy one somewhere else. I'd rather not hear the wine and cheese party

I don't think that this forum is the place to air grievances with dealers, especially with the innuendo of having "inside information", or speculating that the dealer may be having credit problems. It puts the dealer in a position of having to defend himself on a public forum, and that's just not right - it's slanderous. And the notion of "ganging up" on a dealer is actually pretty despicable; especially a dealer who has been a friend to so many of us here.

There's way too much drama here over a $200 deposit, which would probably be refunded (perhaps already has) with no question in order to keep a customer happy - POTR has an impeccable reputation as a RIC dealer, and, let's face it, RIC definitely marches to their own tune. I'm hoping that this problem has already been resolved to everyone's satisfaction.

Dirty laundry involving someone's reputation just shouldn't be put in a public place when it can, and should, be solved in private.
