Question about vintage 4001 case

Post by rockinrayduke »

I have a vintage RIC case I keep my '79 in that has the Rickenbacker logo on the top, does anyone know what years the cases were available? Most every other vintage case I've seen doesn't have the logo on the lid. Thanks-

I'm no expert on cases, but my '74 didn't have a logo plate on it and neither does my '84...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

What CJ said. none of my cases have Rickenbacker on them. The oldest, also a '74, is the only one I can attest to a being original as I bought it. The others were Ebay scores and while I think original they may not be.... HTH.
