They claim it is the same as Harrison's. That one has an "R" tailpiece. Harrison's has a trapeze.

I've never actually seen one of these up for sale. Anyone know of any previous sales/prices with this model? $35,000 does seem a little extreme....

Maybe I would buy it if George Harrison himself owned it, came over to give it to me, took me out to dinner and a few pints and answered every Beatle question I could possibly think of.

IMHO the guitar's asking price is a bit over double of what it's worth. They are worth a good bit but I think more like $12K-$15K, and rising....just not THAT quick,lol...

Yeah, that "guitar broker" guy tends to find really rare, vintage ricks and then balance them precariously on his deck for the photos. Makes me nervous just looking at them.

It seams totally rediculaous to pose an expensive piece so carelessly.

So what's the deal with the "R" tailpiece? I'm guessing it's original to the '67 but just not what Harrison had on his Ric.

Seems like the guitar's correct for a '67 360/12OS, although it's missing the bridge cover like a lot of older ricks out there. The seller's a little out of line, though, by calling this the "exact" Harrison model, given that George's had a mildly different headstock and inlays, as well as export knobs and a trapeze tailpiece. But that's pretty picky...I think your average Beatle collector would be completely bowled over just to be able to find an original '60's 360/12OS, even if it wasn't exactly like George's in every detail.
