I saw the FAb Faux few years ago; the bans was amazing in their accuracy, bring strings and horns to faithfully recreate the sounds. Will played his V63 (with flowers, of course) on a lot of the material.

These guys are a must see. Their shows are typically an album start to finish and then the second half of the show is a spectrum of Beatle songs. I saw them do Abbey Road. It was fantastic!

Different strokes for different folks. These guys are essentially an incredibly talented cover band. & yes the beatles never played most of their songs live & at the time the technology would not have permitted it ( tomorrow never knows for one). But if I want to hear beatle songs just as the beatles played them, I listen to the albums. I prefer when bands take the songs to different places . One would be "Got to get you into my life" by Earth wind & fire. I've heard a lot of very interesting takes on the tunes over the years. & with the exception of "Tomorrow never knows" they're not doing anything a lot of tribute bands haven't done a million times before. With their talent they could be doing so much more. :?:

The band "801" does a GREAT cover of "Tomorrow Never Knows". They deffinately take that song to a different place.

Was that Phil singing in the 801 version. Interesting version. I liked Vincent Rocks too. Strange pickup combo on that P bass on Eleanor Rigby.

Yes...I believe Phil was the singer on that track.
Don't know how many albums they had. I only have the one which opens with "Tomorrow Never Knows".

801, "Tomorrow Never Knows." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkGXUn0Kuuw

Great (busy) bass work. Bill MacCormick.

P.S., it's Simon Phillips on the drums - those fills are clearly influenced by Billy Cobham.

I always hear Eno's voice in that. Maybe they're singing in unison most of the time? That's a classic album, no doubt.
