I've got something like that going on my 370.
When the fifth knob is at the maximum clockwise position the first E string sounds a lot more weak.
I think I read that it wasn't a very easy task to do. But I can't remember.
I don't spend much time in that position when I solo, I use it like that for rhythm purposes mostly.

Mr. Lee: Read your owner's manual. If you don't have one, you can download it from the RIC website.

You can even download a PDF copy of the new manual that's been shipping now for a month or so:

John Hall, that new owners manual is really impressive. I might just purchase a new guitar so that I can get a new-style manual. Hum, are you still taking orders for Lightshows?

Scoobster, after you get done writing me that rubber check, you can do this:

1. Go back to the Rick website.
2. Click on the tab that says "Service".
3. Click on the link that says "owners' manual" in blue (upper left on the "service" page.
4. Download the .pdf file for each section
5. From your OS's pull-down menu, select "PRINT". Be sure you have good-quality paper in your printer.
6. Trim, staple and enjoy...

thank you for all of the help. I've been in contact with service, and by playing with the pickup height and blend knob I think I have fixed the problem. Rickenbacker definitely has amazing quality service, and everybody that sees me play immediately asks where they can purchase one just like it!

Cheers,
Will
