The 3-piece necks on these are wonderfully slim and shallow....

Thanks everyone. I haven't had much of a chance to work with it, only photo it. I think the strings are Fender flats. Too high tension and so the action is a bit high. I've ordered TI Flats for it. I'll be playing it tonight and will report back. Also have more pics.

Looks great Bill, congrats. :)

I have a '76 4000 WHT (Nun Moore-Whyte) strung with Slinkys that has an extra special belch to it. :twisted:

I really like the simplicity of the 4000.
Watch those teeth, Marlin. I'm not sure we've properly sedated the beast . . .

Beautiful,indeed. Looks thoroughly all-original and super clean.
I love that it has a model-specific TRC,too,not sure i've ever seen one for a 4000 before!
