When I recently took my 325 blue boy out of it's case I had noticed it developed some slight pinkish discoloration along the bottom back edge of the guitar and where I rest my arm just above the vibrato. I've tried basic methods of cleaning the guitar but nothing has seemed to work. Has anyone ever had this problem before? I have no idea how it became stained. It isn't very noticeable, but it is slightly irritating.
All help is appreciated.

The first and most obvious thing that comes to mind is it sounds like maybe the acid in your skin reacted with the finish. Could you have put it away without a good wipe down last? Just spitballing. I, for one, have such acidic pH or something, that I have to wipe down strings after playing, or else they are completely ruined by the next morning.

I've seen Ricks with some subtle to really crazy discolorations in the finish. could be a PH issue with sweat or dye from a shirt bleeding into the finish.
