A few rumblings about .... that its time for another Southern Calif Annual Ric Fest, SCARF, with the Janglebell Rock theme

Actual day and location are still under consideration.

Some dates tossed around may potentially be December 5th or 6th or alternatively, the possibility of one of the days the following weekend, either December 12th or 13th

Some of the Rickenjammer crew who have RSVP'd early, with a "yes" to joining-in are:

Mark P --- who is moving out to So Calif from North Carolina this week

Re the potential Rickenbacker Jam- Confluence, which might be targeted for December 12th, will update the attendees RSVP list to include Snowman, Jonathan, Brad H is going to try and make it as well as Bobbo & Tracy, the Fallen Stars

Another SCARF-Janglebell Rock event is coming in December !!

Re the Rickenbacker Jam- Confluence, "Janglebell Rock" in the works, tentatively, slated for a possible Saturday afternoon, maybe December 12th, but still the day/location /time details are being worked out.

Glad to report that we have a very enthusiastic RSVP list of early responders

I've booked us for Saturday December 12, 1 to 6 PM in the showcase and adjoining rooms.
Bring adequate stands for your guitars. A drum kit and bass cabinet will be on hand.

Received an e-mail from RRF member Bob "Original 360" who is planning on bringing his Chequered Bound, Maple Glo 12 string out of retirement to our Janglebell Rock Confluence Jam.

Bob dug through his archives and sent this picture of his band with him playing his original 360 Rickenbacker (on the left) at a place called the White House in 1967. And the black and white photo is his rig from 1969

I understand Jerry is going to bring a Guitar amp. I can bring an AC 30. If we can get volunteers for three or four more guitar amps that would be cool !

I was waiting to see what scheduling tetris finishing moves I could pull off but it looks like I can't make the trek this go around. Next time is a whole lot more likely though, our work schedules are finally about to align and I'll once again know what weekends feel like! I hate missing out on checkerboard.
