The 'official' Rick-forum ?

Post by 4000 »

What about the 'offical' forum ? http://www.rickenbacker.com/forum/

(Most likely a FAQ which I wasn't able to locate, apologies for that)

I've been visiting that forum several years ago, but when asking for a new login-password recently all remains silent for several days.
Was wondering if I simply have to be patient for some more days because the password-retrieval is not automated over there ?

Apart from that, is the RickResource forum here actually where most people are ?

Thanks!

I dunno,i still enjoy visiting both the RRF and the offshoot RRF forums on Facebook, and the Rick club on Talkbass,as well.
The RIC site has been kind of quiet for a lonnng time now.

Interesting, didn't know so many were out there on facebook, or that there was a Rick presence there.

Is there some type of Rickenbacker club on Facebook?

If that is the case, maybe I should make an account...

To be honest I always thought that forums are much nicer than facebook.
The biggest reason imho is the ability to run a decent search and dig in through history.
RRF has over 15 years of history to dig through, chances are that any Rickenbacker related question would have an answer here.

RRF Is a cafeteria at a library.
FB is a pub where you get to meet people and have a quick chat.

I don't drink alcohol (but I am on FB  )
So long and thanks for all the fish!
