Excellent, Scott!

How do you have your bass wired up? I see just two knobs and no HS.

It's a vol/ tone/ toggle. I've gotten very comfortable with that config.

Also see you've a Hipshot tail as well, how much of a difference did fitting that make ?

The biggest improvement was the adjustable saddles. The neck radius and the radius on the bridge weren't the same, so I was never able to get even action across the strings. Now I can, it's a happy thing.
