Poll: Family Tree/Timeline foldout graphic in book.

Post by bassduke49 »

Approaching three years now since the book came out, and I was wondering to myself how many readers know of the Family Tree/Timeline foldout inside of the back cover. Since it is printed on the inside of the foldout, some may think it is just a blank backpiece. So I'm just curious to see if this is news to any of the readers. Feel free to vote!

To be honest Paul, I'm not sure that I've EVER read a book as many times, in such detail, as I have with yours. It's a constant source of reference that is invaluable to anyone interested in Rickenbacker basses.

I hope it sold/continues to sell well, and would welcome an updated version if and when you feel inclined to do one - I suspect that after reading your book, many people would be prepared to provide photos of their instruments, although I recognise that extensive coverage of the very early period from 1957 onwards, in respect of the original 4000 design, is likely to depend on the willingness to engage from one person....

+1 on that Ash, I've got two copies, one at work and one at home.

It's awesome, just like the rest of the book.

Now, does that come in a poster-sized print???

Actually, yes, BUT . . . the poster I had made is about the same size as the foldout and it is the first version of the graphic. I made a few refinements and corrections to it (datelines mostly), so it is not as "accurate" as the version in the book. It is full color and printed on heavy stock and rolled into a cardboard tube. $15 including shipping if you're interested.

What book? There is a book out? Just kidding Paul.
Yes I did see it.
I even bought a poster from you which sent over to me in Germany. It's framed and hanging on the wall. :D
