The headstock is an upside-down version of Jeff Rath's mod. RIC is adopting Jeff Rath's solution to converting a 4- to 5-string.

It's a converted C-64.

Interesting that they opted to use the c64 with .5 inch neck pup position. I wonder if they utilized the 2015 manufacturing standard in regards to neck pup routing. I think we've all seen our share of negative neck angle issues with the v63/c64 instruments. Adding more tension..... Other than that, I like it!! I also like that RIC is thinking outside the narrow box!!
