Hello from a new guy (sort of)

Post by 73lemon »

Hi there everyone,

I'm a new guy here (sort of) and wanted to (re) enter with a proper self-introduction. I registered here years ago when I first became interested in Rickenbackers and would check in pretty infrequently. It's been so long that I couldn't recall my log in info so I recently re-registered.

I'm a 50-year old hobbyist player and became somewhat interested in Rickenbackers years ago. Over time, I've had a few 330s and 360s but never ventured into the other models. I currently have a couple of 330-6s and a 360-12. The sound of a Ric is like nothing else, and the visual appeal is over the top. I'm used to guitars with bigger necks so playing the smaller neck of a Ric is sort of a challenge but also fun.

It's great to have access to this forum, as it is a wealth of information and it seems to be populated by some very nice folks who share a common interest in these guitars (and many more things I would imagine). I look forward to spending some time here, and hopefully I will get to interact with some of you as time goes on.

Cheers,

Bill
