My Fireglo 4004 Laredo

The previous owner modded it to V/V/T, which is fine by me.

I further modded it to 1 MegOhm pots & the pickups are now in series.
So basically, there are 4 coils in series. It might take away some brightness, but it gives it more Ooomph!

What do the 2 volumes do now? I don't think it's possible to have separate volumes on PUPs in series...essentially the 2 PUP are now one.

I can imagine the sound is very deep. Umph indeed! I put the P/J PUPs on an old Ibanez in series and it roars!

Gorgeous Laredo, btw!

I was concerned that it might take some brightness away, which is why I used the 1 MegOhm pots, to counteract that.

They are essentially wired together, but when I lower the volume on one pickup I'm shunting the + and - wires together for that pickup.

They do control the volume for each pickup separately.
