Awesome Chris Squire Interview

Post by rickenbastard »

I did a quick search on here and didn't see this although I'm sure you've all already seen it. Lots of good info about his setup.

Interesting at 10:42 when he says Rickenbacker's Chris Squire model doesn't sound like his.

Someone uploaded this short clip of The Fish from a gig we did in Holland.
I think my CS sounds ok.

Nice one Pete, and i like the coat!

One question, why the coiled lead, personal preference or are you going for more authenticity of the period?

I use a coiled lead because straight leads tend to trail on the stage floor and get covered in all kinds of gunk.I got tired of getting it all over my hands when putting the gear away.
The leads are Fender.
I intended to go wireless but I can't justify the cost right now.

Here's a couple of clips of The Fish sent to us by an audience member at Crewe recently. I had to put my SVT heads on the drum riser at this one. The video didn't include the finale after the stop which is a pity.Maybe next time we will get the whole thing.
