Who Owns this Model Now?

Post by simer4001 »

I've always liked the look of this finish. I think this started with Ken Swearingen.

Paul Boyer may know as, IIRC, he was the owner previous to the current one.

I believe Sepp bought it from Paul...he was trying to sell it at the end of 2012. I thought about buying it, but it was around the time of Hurricane Sandy and my basement flooded, so I had to direct my priorities elsewhere. I'm pretty sure a Forumite has it...Sepp was selling it for a great price...

But I guess we don't know who purchased it? Sounds like a non-forum member. Anyway, I was curious. Thanks.

I purchased Snow White from Paul Boyer. I owned her for a few years before selling her to a non forum member from the Chicago area, IIRC. Although Dale Fortune repaired her very deep pup route, well before I purchased her, she cracked once again at the body wings at the neck pup. She needed very low tension strings on her. Paul had very floppy feeling flats on her. I'm nto a flat wound guy so I put some balanced tension strings on her and she apparently did not not like it.

She sounded killer but she was far too white for me and I never really bonded with her.

Those would have been TI Jazz Flats, an acquired taste. I love 'em and have them on a couple more basses that are left in the Forest.
