These seem to be well-accepted models, and not just finish or hardware options, they offer different tone woods so it's a real alternative. They look great too. I hope they are here to stay.

And the neat thing about the W series is that they don't feature any special parts or treatments from the standard 4003 and 4003S; same hardware, same shapes, same assembly sequences. Only the wood and the finish differ.

I imagine the thought of them being discontinued was because the finish was maybe mentiioned as being a Colour Of The Year at one point.
