I think this is it. 4003 BB

Post by lowendbob »

Someone on the DudePit posted this. It's suppose to be from NAMM 2005. I'am not sure if it's the real Blue Burst, or Midnight Blue. I have a larger picture posted here.
Looks like you can see grain through it? http://photobucket.com/albums/v324/lowendbob/Image
Buy it before someone else does.

That's definitely a burst, but it's not bursting all over the place. I think it looks really good. I can't wait to more detailed pictures!

I showed the photo to my wife and she loved it since blue is her favorite color. Once I explained to her that the color would only be available for 2005, she told me to order one.

Just what I love, spouse-induced GAS.

Good move Ron!!!!
My wife said it looks too much like my MID....she wanted me to get a BlueBoy.
I actually like the looks of the Blue Burst in this pic since the "burst" aspect seems subtle and seeing the grain through the finish adds some depth.....I still won't get one but it looks great!

Hey Ron, let's both get a new one together! Russ is gonna order a whole bunch of BBR's on Monday, I told him to get me a 4003. I guess that he's gotta get a couple of more 4003's!

That's a nice looking bass, but I'm confused. JH replied to someone's email that the look was that of MCC's acoustic, which is nothing like this. If the finish does look like this bass, I'd be interested.

That's a very close second to Fireglo, I could be tempted, like Andy says, little vitage touch, a toaster, and a v63 Horseshoe, would look delicious ...

Yeah, I agree with Jeff. I thought (according to John Hall) that it would be a bit lighter in the middle. I actually dig both, but I'd like to see the lighter shading on a 4003.

That bass looks very nice, I think I would look even more stunning with black trim, at least for the pickguard, TRC and binding.
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

Oh boy - that's sweet! Hey Roger - do you have pics of any other goodies they might have there?

I'd love to see the back of that 4003!
