Here's a question for the group. What kind and/or thickness of picks did the Beatles use when they played?
As we know, different picks affect the feel and sound.
Any ideas?

They used little 5-sided picks that were sort of trapezoid shaped. WITH in Japan sells repros: http://www.netlaputa.ne.jp/~with/somethingnew.htm

I believe the story behind those 4003's is RIC made just under 100 with checked binding to satisfy some special Japanese market conditions....
....but back to those trap pics.....what the ??? I've never seen those before....did Paul use those? I STILL am amazed at his picking technique in the Beatle days.....
