I, and I'm sure all who read this wish George all the best in dealing with the big C. It is something that many of us will deal with over time, in one way or another, and that is about all you can do---deal with it the best way you can. Speedy recovery for you George, and back to Friar Park !!!!

Strange how 4 individuals who contributed so much to popular culture, in such a positive way, have suffered in such awful, often horrific ways. When I look at a picture of the 4 of them from Abbey Road in, say , 1963, it's hard to imagine the cancer, alcoholism and attempted (and successful) murder life had in store.

Get well Mr. Harrison.

read this morning at the BeatlesBootlegExchange :

"George's brain cancer has progressed to an inoperable state and as such he has indirectly made it known that he expects to die soon."

this is truly devastating.

On CNN on the Larry King show two nights ago during the Paul McCartney interview ,Larry read a press release from George and Olivia Harrison....

Basically it said ..............

I am NOT dieing of Brain cancer ...I am fine !
All this press is totally false and concocted!

Thanks George and Olivia ....I am so glad to hear this .

The press and their insatable desire for stories (even false news) is too much !This is another case of ....get it right before you print a story.

My respect for the press slips another notch.
So you too want yours "ALAPWOB"?!?!

Axel, I saw the same report on Fox News and it said George expected to die soon from the cancer. We know you were just passing on info to us about someone we all care very much for and are thankful for all his contributions to us and the world of music. Thanks.

Nothing compares to the sound of a Rick 12 with a JangleBox and a touch of chorus.
