Very nice.
Reminds me a bit of the G&L Blue burst color (w/o the black shading.)

One problem: Where do I get the money to get one?!?!?

A V63 would look good in this finish.

Thanks for the picture roger. I had second thoughts about ordering it, but man is that a sharp looking bass. I can't wait to get mine Image

Hmm... Stunning 4003. To quote a Ted Nugent song, 'You're looking much too sexy, girl/My love is on the rise'Image
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

Gorgeous, just how I was hoping it was going to look. I'm budgeting already.

Roger - you're the man!

Just look at that 4003… Wonder if BBR becomes a standard?

I kinda doubt it. Look how nice the Monty Brown finish was. Even though it was extended for a while, RIC didn't make it standard. So I don't think this will be any different. We can hope though. A C64 would look great in this finish!
I recently went back to playing a Rickenbacker bass. Its like meeting an old friend again

I agree a C64 would look great in Blue Burst. I wonder if we could bribe JH into doing it?
If you think all is going well, you've obviously overlooked something.

You better have some deep pockets Ron!

The only reason I say a standard is because of the trans blue. Do we see green or red next year?

...How about a Cii5 in this color"?...

...I think the Cii 4 or 5 string basses would look best in the blue burst finish since it will show the figured maple and not have a pickguard blocking out a large portion of the top.

Yeah, but the trans blue available for the Cii looks WAY to much like the burst (at least from the few pics I've seen of the new color).

The burst on the 4003 is somewhat hard to tell. On the NAMM model you don't see the grain very much because of the pickguard and the size of the body. I got a glimpse of the back and it looks better, more grain better burst. It looked really nice on the 360 because of the larger body and the darker stripe in the middle. In all it was nice to see all of the models in one place finally. The acoustics are beautiful and the 4004 have a nice feel to them. The blue burst is a really nice color.
a couple of Shadows a Blackstar and an Annie.
