Man oh man that is a nice one. I wanted to get a cheyenne for a long time, but I've never had a chance to play one. I hear the necks are pretty thick, which leads me to think I wouldn't like one. Some day I will finally find one to play and see for myself.

the necks on 4004's are nice to play ... they are wider and slimmer than a 4003 ...

I think I am tired of blue already ... I had a blue p-bass and a blue 4003s5 ... I don't want another blue bass ...

Slimmer? Huh, maybe I might like one then.

yep it is a nice profile .... there are a few 4004's that developed ski jump necks ... but most of them are quite nice ...

Oh man...aside from wanting a Laredo (I hear these basses have a very strong low frequency response and the L's are a little brighter) this is what I want...

Unfortunately, I really only have about 1/6 of that $ available right now... waaaaaahhhhhhhh

Hey Scott...
Image
that's a beauty, and I like the flamed maple headstock wings as much as I like walnut wings.

Scott....Your wife TOLD you to buy it? So what are you waiting for? When I called my wife into the room last night to look at that one on Ebay, she was like "Not another Ricky on Ebay", but when she saw it she oohed and awwed about it more than me. If I was a long scale guy it would've been mine. As it is, she wants a 620 in Blueburst now.

Id love to get a 4004CII or L. I hope they make a fretless version though one day, cause i maybe more interested in that.

If they do not do a fretless just make it fretless, I have done that with a few basses over the years, to a Yamaha, Tele Bass and an Alembic.

I'm pretty sure if I had the discretionary funds my wife would say "do it"...

Rough day yesterday, as she lost her job. So I didn't even ask her to look at it on the 'bay.
