I posted a lot of photos and videos of this guitar on my Instagram.
It's from June 1982 and was completely stock when I got it, including the case, the original "box" Grover tuners, and the ridiculously mismatched (resistance-wise) pickups.

I swapped the bridge pickup for the neck pickup and shunted the .0047 cap. The bridge pickup sounds HUGE now, the neck pickup is far more clear and articulate, and both positions are matched perfectly, output-wise. You can hear the before-and-after via a series of videos on my Instagram linked above.
The neck is quite large, and the guitar is heavily braced. This guitar is a gig-ready tank!
It is exactly like Johnny Marr's and is likely from the same production year (Johnny first used his in June of 1983 - thanks to Thom / Smiths On Guitar for that info).
Mitch Easter's famous Azureglo 330 is also from 1982, and I'll bet that Wendy Melvoin's 330s that she used with Prince are from 1982 / 1983 (Wendy had the pickups replaced with G&L pickups, among other mods).
Of course, Paul Weller and Peter Buck also used and abused guitars from this era.
It's no wonder that so many of these players were able to tour relentlessly with these instruments - they are so solidly built.
