This is about the cleanest white Rick I have seen in a while.

I had an early 80's 4001 just like that but more yellowed.

Hey! Isn't that the "I'm Rick James, b**ch!" signature model?

This one aint too shabby either. Well...except for the price. Maybe when it is re-listed with an opening price that wasn't dreamed up during an acid flashback.

I used to hate the white 4001's being a Geddy fan. Sort of anti-Geddy, goody-goody they looked to me. When I was looking for a decent Rick to buy, it seemed like they were quite common on the 'bay. Now I've had a change of mind after seeing several nice examples. I'd pick up a clean one if it wasn't too yellowed, but now they seem hard to get. White is super cool with the white binding and plastic, but I've seen very few decent examples to be had.

I agree, Alvaro. Andrew, Rickenbacker should come out with a non-yellowing white just like the picture you posted, and dub it "Winter White" in your honor. That is your bass, right?

I knew after my post that Wint's bass would come up - nice. I'm even talking the regular 4001/4003 all whites. Can't be many around, I don't see them for sale ever.
